Does your child really have ADHD, or is it something else?

From years of working with children who have ADHD, I have identified about 70 characteristics that contribute to ADHD behaviors. If you are unsure whether your child actually has ADHD, take my ADHD ADHD Survey. It is not a medical diagnosis, but will give you a great deal of insight into your child's situation.

Is your child's behavior creating a great deal of stress?

Having a child with ADHD is more than enough stress for any parent. In addition, many of us have a lot of other "stresses" we have to deal with each day, and having a challenging child may just be enough to put you over the edge. Read my short E-book called "Kicking the Cat" to help identify your current stress level and some helpful suggestions to reduce the stress in your life.

The Power of Paradigms.

Your paradigms are how you "view" the world around you. Your parenting paradigms can be severly tested by a child—especially one with ADHD. The Power of Paradigms is a helpful e-book that will give you insight into your paradigms and how they affect your success as a parent.

What style of parent are you?

Just like cars come in different "styles", parents too have different styles when it comes to HOW they parent. Take my Parenting Style Survey and see where your parenting style is now and what you might want to do different down the road.

Can children who have ADHD really achieve success without being on an ADHD medication?

Yes they can! After five years of operating a center for children with ADHD (Success Pointe, Inc.), I know that most children can progress and overcome the majority of their ADHD behaviors WITHOUT the use of medication.
