For parents who are at their wit's end with a child who has ADHD or similar challenges—

An "In-home" Intervention can turn things around.

Over time, raising a child with ADHD can be at the very least trying, and at the most a seemingly insurmountable challenge. If you have reached the point where you just don't know what to do to make things better, or if you have perhaps been directed to seek help by a court or counselor, an In-Home Intervention is an option you should consider.

If you have read my bio, you know a little about my background. At my ADHD Center, Success Pointe, we have worked with children facing a broad range of challenges physically, socially and emotionally since 2003. I recently had the mother of an 8-year-old boy contact me. She told me that the school had called the police (yes, the police) on her son on three ocassions because of his behavior at school. She was petrified because this was Jesse's "last shot" in public school and they were facing the prospect of placing him in juevinille detention. Again, this is an 8 year-old.

Jesse has been with us for a little over a month and is doing MUCH better. He's had a couple of rough days (don't we all), but overall he is progressing and now "enjoying" school. Fortunately, we were able to intervene with Jesse before his situation became any worse. Almost without exception, children like Jesse, and perhaps your child, DO have the power to change their behavior and CAN learn to manage their challenges they don't have control over (like the chemical contributors to their ADHD). Although your situation is likely different from Jesse's, the transformation you can expect from an In-Home Intervention can be just as profound.

What's involved

You may have watched the TV show "Super Nanny". Although my philosophy of working with children differs greatly, the concept of intervention is similar. In an In-Home Invtervention, I meet with you and come to your home and personally "coach" you through the challenges your family is facing. As a working mom with five children (four that have ADHD), and having been "in the trenches" so-to-speak for many years, I KNOW what to do to help you turn things around.

Initially, there is a consultation to discuss your situation in depth (even at this early point you will already feel comforted and assured that things are going to get better.) Before I come to your home, there are usually some preparation items on your part related to your child's diet and sleep habits and we will also have an in-depth discussion regarding any medications he may be on.

Once I come into your home, we will focus on the emotional and behavioral challenges your child has. You will be personally trained in my RARE approach that is the core philosphy and teaching method we use at my ADHD center. All the aspects of your child's behavior and your family interactions will be addressed. You might call it a "family makeover", because when we are done, your family will appear different and your situation will have transformed from one of STRESS to SUCCESS.

Please contact me directly if you would like to discuss an In-Home Intervention. The initial consultation is free and I promise you it may be the most important phone call you ever make.

NOTE: For a few families that will allow their intervention experience to be video documented, the only fee will be to cover my travel expenses.
