This seminar offers stress-busting tools, and tips for finding joy in teaching. It helps prevent teacher burn-out and makes your job more enjoyable and meaningful.

Dealing with the Difficult Student— It is increasingly hard to deal with students who have behavioral and/or emotional challenges. This seminar gives guidelines for preventing behavioral and emotional outbursts, and problem-solving tips for effectively dealing with them when they occur without adding to the stress and negativity that already exists.

Kids with ADHD (and/or other Learning Challenges)— If you have students with ADHD, Asperger’s, Autism, or other learning challenges, you are facing a host of challenges. This seminar will cover how to minimize those challenges, increase these student’s rate of success, and have a positive and peaceful classroom.

We can create a customized package to meet your needs. The consultation can include, but is not limited to:

Initial Assessment – intake of the particular student challenges your staff is dealing with, what approaches you are using at this time, parent involvement, and any factors that may be contributing to the challenges, or that may be a hurdle in overcoming them.

Observational Assessment – onsite observational assessment of the physical environment, emotional environment, teaching & discipline style, behaviors of any students with challenges, possible additional contributors to the challenging students’ behaviors, and composite interaction of the entire class.

Results and Recommendation Consult – this consultation will either be by phone, or in person. We will go over the results of our assessments and make recommendations based upon these results.

Once the consultation is complete you may choose to add any of these services:

Staff Trainings – the trainings will be customized based on the results and recommendations that were given for your particular school or program. The trainings can include any of the following:

Inservice Training – Lecture and role-playing format which includes training based on the recommendations.

Personal Coaching – We will work with each teacher during the course of their day in the classroom to guide them in developing the skills for success with our program. This is very beneficial because when the teacher can get “on-the-spot” guidance and mentoring as a situation occurs, he or she will develop the skills much more quickly and will be able to turn those skills into a habitual response much sooner.

Daily Phone or Email Consults – you can contact us as a situation arises and have us walk you through it. Or you can ask questions, get clarifications, get addition advice, etc.
